Nancy Justus — Fiber Art
6:00pm Social & Refreshments
Racine fiber artist, Nancy Justus, has been producing artwork out of fabric and thread for over 25 years. The inspiration for her style began at Pigeon Lake in northern Wisconsin during one of the art weeks she attended there with UW-Parkside faculty and faculty from other University of Wisconsin campuses. For the October meeting of the Racine Art Guild, she will present a short review of her art education and career as well as a hands-on (bring only a pencil) exercise. Then there will be offered a srep-by-step progression through the development of a piece of artwork from idea to completion. You do not have to be interested in sewing per se to find this interesting and worthwhile. Please plan to attend.
