John XXIII Educational Center

John XXIII is a nonprofit whose mission is to empower the youth in Racine to become leaders through academic and social support. They have after school tutoring and mentoring programs for middle and high school students. Racine Art Guild members have been asked to lead an art project on April 18, 3:45-5pm. The activity will be creating monoprints using ink, rollers and styrofoam plates. They will learn that emotions can be captured in print and so they will create 2 prints of their colorful and emotional designs.

There will be a sign up sheet at the April ll meeting for volunteers. You can also contact Janet Mrazek at jwmrazek@gmail.com if interested in helping.
